ABOUT
I was given the opportunity to revamp Vreacts website and give it a custom design. Unfortunately, by the time the website was ready, the company had merged and a whole new website was developed to suit their new business idea. However, I am very happy for the experience in both creating a custom website design and also the customer relations I had to develop to suit the needs of the client.
Process
For this project I had close contact with the client. She knew what she wanted and had a clear vision. She wanted a modern and high tech vibe on the website. She took inspiration from game interfaces and wanted glass and saber/neon effect. I presented some ideas and we worked together to reach something more in line with what she had envisioned. The client was experienced in design and therefor I saw this as a collaboration rather than a handover. This process was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about translating a vision to reality and also navigating through quick turns and needing to make my design adjustable for the future and what it holds. I had high ambitions for this project but another insight could maybe be to assess the ambition of the client/company. This was a startup with many ideas and possibilities and I would have been more successful with integrating my design if I just had adjusted the existing website rather than an entire rebrand.
Showcase film
This video showcases the work I've completed for Vreact, featuring a presentation of a website. Throughout the project, I delved into After Effects, learning the art of crafting mockups and transforming static images into dynamic animations. I have created everything in the video except music (taken and cut together from https://pixabay.com/music/) and logo + the 3 illustrations in the end. Website is designed in figma.
